About

Why we built Woodo

A small team trying to fix a frustration that almost every household has felt.

The problem we kept running into

Like most people, we have multiple credit cards across multiple banks. At the end of every month, a stack of PDF statements arrives — each formatted differently, each with hundreds of transactions, none of them in a format that lets you actually understand where your money went.

The honest truth is that the tools available to manage household finances felt stuck a decade behind. Either you spent your Sunday evening typing rows into a spreadsheet, you trusted a budgeting app to scrape your bank login (and worried about the security trade-off), or you simply gave up and hoped for the best. None of those options felt right for a household trying to make grown-up decisions about money.

What Woodo is

Woodo is the tool we wished existed: drop a PDF, and an AI reads every line for you — categorising spend, flagging anomalies, and giving back a clean view of where the money actually went. No bank logins. No manual entry. No templates. Just the statement you already have, turned into clarity.

We designed it for two kinds of people we kept hearing from: families managing a shared budget across several cards, and financial advisors managing statements on behalf of their clients. Multi-profile support, magic invite links, and a quiet, Apple-inspired interface are the result of those conversations.

What we believe

  • Your data is yours. We never sell it, never use it to train third-party models, and never share it with advertisers.
  • Clarity beats cleverness. We would rather show one honest number than ten dazzling charts.
  • Your time matters. If a feature does not save you time or give you peace of mind, it should not exist.
