1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Woodo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. The account you create
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password confidential. You agree not to share your account with others outside of the multi-profile features Woodo offers, and not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the Service; (b) upload content that you do not have the right to upload; (c) abuse, harass, or impersonate other users; (d) attempt to circumvent quotas, billing, or access controls; (e) use the Service to build a competing product.
4. Account suspension and termination
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or permanently remove any account if we discover abuse of the Service, including but not limited to fraudulent activity, attempts to evade billing, abusive content, automated scraping, or any breach of these Terms. We may do this without prior notice where we believe immediate action is necessary.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed on an ongoing recurring basis — monthly or annually depending on the cycle you select — and will continue to renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel. You authorise us, through our payment processor (Stripe), to charge your payment method at the start of every cycle for as long as the subscription is active.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain paid features until then.
6. No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not entertain refund requests for partial billing periods, unused quota, or accidental renewals. If you wish to stop being charged, please cancel before your next billing date. This policy applies regardless of the cycle length (monthly or annual).
7. Plan changes
You may upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on the spot. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, so you continue to enjoy your current plan until that date.
8. AI output and accuracy disclaimer
Woodo uses third-party AI models to read and categorise your statements. While we work hard to maximise accuracy, AI models can occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or hallucinated output. The Service is provided "as is" and is intended as a tool to help you organise your finances — not as financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing the output before relying on it for any decision, filing, or transaction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Woodo and its operators disclaim all liability for any loss, damage, or consequence arising from inaccuracies, hallucinations, or errors produced by underlying AI models, or from your reliance on the output of the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Woodo brand, design, code, and content are owned by us. You retain full ownership of any statements, transactions, or content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store that content strictly for the purpose of operating the Service for you.
10. Service availability
We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any major reductions in functionality that affect paid plans.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Woodo's total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
